In a recent interview Nick revealed that his life is much too busy to return for the final series of Skins. Nick played a crucial character in the first generation and it will be quite odd to watch the generation one cast with his absence (if they even proceed with the project). I’m a bit skeptical as to how this series will work with Tony gone, but I guess we’ll just have to watch and see!
